The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river. It was commissioned in 1632 by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

2024-12-01No words can describe the beauty of the Taj Mahal. It is truly a masterpiece of Mughal architecture. The marble work, the symmetry, the gardens - everything is breathtaking. Visiting at sunrise was the best decision.

2024-10-05Spectacular monument, one of the finest I have ever seen. The only downside is the crowd management - it can get extremely packed during peak season. Weekday visits are much better. Ticket booking online saves a lot of time.

2024-11-25Visited during full moon night and it was an ethereal experience. The white marble glows under the moonlight. Make sure to book night viewing tickets in advance as they are limited. Truly magical!
